On 11 September 2012, the naming ceremony of the Thompson Center for Business Case Studies took place in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. James Thompson and family and HKUST senior management. At the ceremony, James Thompson reiterated his support for HKUST and the case method of teaching calling it: “one of the most meaningful ways to understand business issues”. He hopes that with his support, “more companies will become the subject of business cases for the benefit of future students at HKUST”.
