The 2009 Citi International Case Competition (CICC) will be held during November 2-5, 2009. This is the seventh year that the HKUST Business School hosts this event since 2003. The event is named after Citibank in recognition of the group's continuous support of this educational activity.

Every year a careful mix of top-ranked international business schools are invited to participate in this event, with each team consisting of 4 undergraduate students. Each team will have 26 hours to complete the analysis and provide recommendations to senior management for consideration. Each team will then have twenty minutes to present their case analysis in front of a panel of industry experts and faculty members.

This year the CBCS will work with Citi to develop a business case for the competition. The case will provide background information about an organization and outlines a set of pressing business issues that senior management needs to address.
