Professor Winnie Qian Peng is Associate Professor of Business Practice in Finance, Director of the Thompson Center for Business Case Studies, Director of the HKUST Roger King Center for Asian Family Business and Family Office, and Academic Director of the MSc in Family Office and Family Business Program at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). She also serves as advisor or board member to several family business and family office organizations and platforms worldwide.

Professor Peng is a passionate scholar who has 20 years of extensive research and teaching experience in the fields of family business and family office. Her work has been published in academic journals as well as international and local media. She has also authored numerous teaching and research case studies on family businesses and family offices.

Professor Peng offers tailor-made family business and family office courses for HKUST students, family business owners and ultra-high-net-wealth individuals around the world. She is a frequent speaker at local and international conferences. She also created the Global Family Leader Succession Program, a flagship program of the HKUST Roger King Center, to support transgenerational leaders in business families.

Professor Peng received her Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Tsinghua University, her PhD in Finance from HKUST. She is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Executive Education program in Private Equity and Venture Capital.
